A kind of transcendence.Wagner Contemporary is delighted to present a new exhibition of paintings and drawings by one of Australia’s finest figurative artists. Christopher Orchard has been exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions for over 30 years in New York at Stephen Rosenberg Fine Art and throughout Australia. He has been short listed for numerous awards, including the prestigious Dobell Prize for Drawing (AGNSW). In 2017 Orchard was named the feature artist for SALA, the South Australian Living Artists Festival, and he is the subject of the recent major publication, The uncertainty of the poet (Wakefield Press).
